Dowry has been illegal in India since 1961, yet it remains one of the most persistent and harmful customs in modern marriage — driving families into debt, fuelling harassment, and reducing people to transactions. We built No2Dowry to change the default: a matrimony platform where a dowry-free marriage isn't the brave exception, but the rule everyone agrees to from day one.
